A Summer Story at The House of Learning
Where Play Meets Peace, and Every Day Feels Like Home
This is not just a summer program.
It’s a season of joy, rest, and rich, hands-on discovery.
At The House of Learning, we believe summer is a time to grow differently. Not faster. Not louder. But in a way that’s deeper, more connected, and filled with wonder. We invite your child to step into a thoughtfully curated indoor experience where fun and relaxation live side by side, where active bodies and curious minds find space to explore, express, and simply be.
Our Core Summer Pillars
01.
Slow Down
Embrace a calmer pace that allows children to rest, reflect, and recharge in a safe, loving environment.
02.
Stay Engaged
Through hands-on discovery, creativity, and curiosity-led play, children stay actively involved and inspired.
03.
Move with Joy
From gymnastics to football, yoga to taekwondo, we offer daily indoor movement experiences to keep children energized and happy.
04.
Create & Express
Art, sculpture, music, and imaginative play invite children to express themselves freely and confidently.
05.
Celebrate Connection
Each moment is infused with care, laughter, and relationship, because the best learning happens when children feel loved and seen.
Weekly Chapters – All Indoors, All Heart
Each week is a new chapter in a story full of movement, creativity, laughter, and calm. Through arts, gymnastics, football, African drumming, and taekwondo, children build strength and confidence while also enjoying soothing rhythms, quiet storytelling, and sensory play that nurtures the soul.
Chapter 1: The Garden Wakes Up
Theme: Nature-inspired textures, rhythm, observation
Children explore the colours, scents, and textures of nature indoors through sensory play, gardening-themed crafts, and puppet-making. Daily yoga and creative movement classes bring the theme to life.

Chapter 2: Sounds of Summer
Theme: Listening, music, exploration
Indoor sound exploration with water play stations, musical storytelling, rhythm games, and a live African drumming session led by a professional.
Chapter 3: Hands in the Clay

Malleable materials like clay, dough, and sensory bins encourage expression and creativity. Children continue their yoga practice and begin indoor gymnastics to build physical strength and control.

Chapter 4: Water, Wind & Wonder
Theme: Movement, flow, curiosity
Children explore the elements through indoor water tables, fan-based wind tunnels, and light play. Gross motor play continues with taekwondo for coordination and confidence.
Chapter 5: Small World Builders

Children build their own mini worlds using blocks, recycled materials, and figurines. Team-building play introduces the joy of indoor football drills and continued gymnastics.

Chapter 6: The Sky Above
Theme: Wonder, openness, observation
Children dream, create, and reflect through celestial-themed art, yoga, storytelling, and sensory play. A peaceful, imaginative week with room for gentle movement and mindfulness.
Chapter 7: Celebration Circles
Theme: Belonging, memory, celebration
Our final week brings the whole story together. Children revisit their favourite activities, create a collaborative art piece, and share joyful reflections through stories, songs, and movement.
